Expanding NMTC Capacity in Puerto Rico
The New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) is one of the key tools PSI is using to attract new investment into communities across Puerto Rico. In partnership with Monge Capital, PSI is expanding the pipeline of projects that can access this financing by identifying and structuring high-impact, community-rooted initiatives that meet NMTC requirements. By aligning technical expertise in tax credit financing with a place-based approach to economic mobility, this collaboration is helping unlock new capital flows into underserved areas, strengthening the financial infrastructure needed for long-term, sustainable growth for families and communities.
